Carlos Ortega he is a member of the shelter San Francisco Animal Care and Control.
On January 20, 2023, he made a terrible discovery in Ocean Beach, San Francisco, USA.
Just in time
Carlos was called by a jogger who was running on the beach. He had noticed a trapped dog among the rocks and had called the shelter for help.
When Carlos arrived at the scene, he immediately started looking for the dog. Then he saw his nose appearing among the rocks: the four-legged had been trapped there.
The dog was a one-year-old female English Springer Spaniel named Gwen.
Carlos didn’t have too much time to help the furry girl, because the the sea it was inexorably climbing.

Carlos managed to move those big boulders for to free the dog and brought her safely to his home.
Luckily, Gwen’s owners had reported her missing and the shelter was able to contact them very quickly.
Gwen has returned to her family among those who love her more than anything!
