Millie is a big-hearted Siberian Husky who lives with his family in Manchester, United Kingdom. She adores the two young children in the family so much that she seems to think she is their mom!
A video shared online reveals how much Millie cares about her parents little humans and maybe she takes her maternal role a little too seriously.
A thoughtful dog
Aaron Wallman he is the dog’s devoted owner and regularly shares photos and videos of his family, both human and canine, on YouTube and Instagram.
But it’s Aaron’s video starring Millie and her youngest son (named Parker) that has everyone hooked.
Every time that Parker takes a nap, always insists on cuddling with Millie before falling asleep. It’s something she’s been doing early on and Millie seems to think it’s her role to put him to bed like a real mom would.
Millie had a litter several years ago and Aaron believes she never lost his maternal instinct.
Goodnight cuddles
In the adorable clip, Aaron takes Parker to the bedroom for his nap. However, when they enter, they find that Millie has already settled into bed, lying under the covers. As Parker drifts off to sleep, Aaron asks the dog to go away and let Parker sleep.
Millie gives Aaron a defiant look and stubbornly stays in bed next to little Parker. When the baby falls asleep, she Millie snuggles closer to him so that the two are almost nose to nose. Then she, gently, rests one protective paw about Parker. What a special relationship between dog and child!
