It is best to tie or place your dog in a car transport box to avoid accidents. This young 3-month-old dog paid the price. Out of curiosity, she fell from her owner’s vehicle which was traveling at 50 km/h. Luckily, she has recovered and is taking advantage of her regained physical condition to participate in a charity walk in favor of canines who have not had the same luck as her.











Jane Brady lives at St Helen’s in England with his family and his 2 doggies. She adopted her adorable Patterdale Terrier named Peggy in October 2021.

4 weeks later, a tragedy occurred. Peggy toppled overboard from her mistress’s car which was then traveling at 50 km/h. His son had accidentally pressed the power window button.

“I braked and jumped out of the vehicle. She was lying on the ground. I had no choice but to put her in the trunk and rush her to the vet”has explained Jane au Mirror.

His vital prognosis was engaged. The unfortunate woman had not only scratched her skull until she bled, but also fractured her tail.

days of anguish

The first 5 days were decisive. Caregivers explained to Jane after having operated Peggy that if she did not have a bowel movement, she should be euthanized. Indeed, they feared that his intestine was paralyzed.

“On the 5th day, she pooped. It was like Christmas Eve in our garden. I was screaming and crying with joy”told Jane.

Throughout his recovery, Peggy received from his family and fellow Kenny unwavering support. “Kenny lay on the bed and was sad. He was heartbroken. He would come down and sniff her, then come back up and moan. They are the best friends in the world”explained the 55-year-old woman.

Today, the young dog is back in shape. She takes full advantage with her family and will participate next month in a charity walk in favor of doggies in need. Jane, Peggy et Kenny will cover 154 kilometers on foot in several stages during the event West Highland Way Walk.
