In August of 2022, a Twitter thread by user Santasticoo has gone viral. It contained an unusual story that has united cat lovers of all the world.
Santasticoo lives in Palermo, Argentina, in a building whose elevator it is obviously used by all the condominiums.
Martha’s saga
One day this person noticed in a ticket posted in the elevator in which, without complaints or insults, you were asked to take care of a kitten that meowed.
The ticket read as follows:
«There is a cat that meows in the afternoon and in the evening. He doesn’t bother me, but he pities me. Give him lots of love.”
However, the thing did not end with this nice note. In fact the next day someone added one answeralso pasted in the elevator:
«It was probably our cat Marta, while we were on vacation (but someone came to visit her every day). Thanks for the warning, we’ll pamper her!”
One ticket leads to another…
On the same day other neighbours, cat lovers, couldn’t resist and asked, always with a note stuck in the elevator, what everyone was waiting for:
“We want to see a photo of Marta!”
Two days later, Marta’s owners humored them by attacking one in the elevator photo of the kitten with lots of information about his age, his tastes and his personality:
«Marta from Palermo: 6 years old, she loves to hunt, sleep, make pasta and cry when she misses us».
After seeing Marta’s photo, enthusiastic comments from the condominiums who have now become her fans appeared in the lift! But the next day something very unpleasant happened: someone, who has remained unknown, has removed all tickets.
Bad for good
However, Santasticoo, a true cat lover, didn’t sit idly by: he printed the photo of the ticket showing Marta that he had taken with his mobile phone and pasted it back in the elevator in the hope of making restart “the chat”.
The response was surprising: the next day several neighbors posted photos of their cats with their names and tastes, which naturally led to the creation of a real cat lovers forum in the elevator!
