Thanks to the very generous gesture of Rafanelli, the structure will be able to become biggerwith the addition of new shelters and boxes for abandoned animals and boarding houses for dogs and cats, the reorganization of the veterinary clinic.

«Christmas has arrived at the Animal Park of the City of Florence! 🎅🏼🐶 Thanks to a Florentine donor, this structure, the most beautiful and innovative in Italy, will be further improved. A beautiful gift for many puppies and for the whole city!», wrote Mayor Nardella on December 23 on his Facebook profile.

A gesture that makes the difference

But that is not all! The benefactress has also decided to allocate her huge fortune to three important structures in the Florentine area care of children, the elderly and animals.

The formal deed of donation was carried out in the presence of the lawyer Nicola Boschi, the mayor Dario Nardella, the environmental councilor Andrea Giorgio and the operators of the Animal park.
