Dmitri He was born in Greece and, as a stray, he lived the first period of his life on the street.
Due to the poor condition he was in, he unfortunately developed a serious one eye infection.

When he was taken in by an animal welfare organization both eyes had to be enucleated and the poor cat was left completely blind.
Emma Pelkiewicz lives in London and adopted Dmitri in 2021. When she entered the room where the kitty was, he gently touched her foot and she knew immediately that she had to adopt him!
A brilliant idea
A few months ago, the young woman wanted to share her cat’s adventures on her TikTok account.
Dmitri now knows Emma’s apartment very well: he jumps on the furniture, he is very playful and affectionate.
Sometimes, when he gets caught up in the game, he happens to fall, but he never hurts himself and starts off again. Dmitri has many fans all over the world following her daily deeds and this makes Emma very happy.
One day the girl posted a video in which Dmitri called her meowing and extending his paw to find out where she was: actually Emma was filming him, while he was sitting quietly on the table!
The video of this moment did melt hearts of almost 55 million people!
Emma hopes Dmitri’s example will encourage many people to adopting disabled animals.
