Dog expert, a saleswoman saves the life of a customer’s dog

Simone Vecchiatto works as a dog expert in a large pet shop in Ulm, Germany.

On February 24, 2023, she becomes a savior. It is only thanks to her intervention, in fact, that a client’s seriously ill dog remains alive.

Fortunately, the salesperson and expert realizes that the vet’s recommendation must be a blatant misjudgment. And she reacts just right.

Veterinarian advice

The dog’s owner, visibly worried, was looking for high-calorie food for her four-legged friend. Following veterinary advice, the animal had to eat more, having vomited profusely for more than a week.

A poison preparation and three anti-vomiting injections had had no effect and the results of the blood tests were not yet ready.

“My alarm bells were already ringing and the moment she told me she was so weak and shaking, it was over for me,” writes Simone in her Facebook post.

In agreement with the worried owner, the woman arranged an emergency appointment at the veterinary practice of Ralph Rückert, which saved the poor dog’s life.

Veterinarian Rückert confirms in his post:

“The dog in question actually owes its life to Simone’s attention.”

The dog has only a few hours left

The vet who treated the four-legged discovered a calculus in the small intestine! The dog suffered from a life-threatening intestinal obstruction. In this case, the calculation would have led to necrosis of the intestinal wall.

Just a first aid and a complex operation they saved the animal’s life, as Ralph Rückert also confirms.

“We were in each other’s arms and wept for joy,” said a moved Simone, who received a large bouquet of flowers from the dog’s owner as thanks for her prudence and her commitment.
