In 2016, Julia Morley met for the first time Lu-Seal in a shelter in Pittsburgh (USA). The Chihuahua was in obvious state of obesity and he could barely walk: he weighed about 7 kg, which is double for a dog of his size.
After the adoption, lots of love and a healthy, balanced diet, the 9-year-old dog started to lose weight. Today she is a healthy and active four-legged friend.
Less kilos but more “problems”!
However, her weight loss proved to be even more dramatic as soon as her owner had one fitted new fence around the backyard.
Lu-Seal is constantly looking for his neighbor, Eddie, who often offers her the best treats! And the new enclosure presented little challenge when it came to Lu-Seal coming out of his backyard to chase him.
Escape lover
Lu-Seal was determined to go through the fence every time she went out into the garden, so Morley had to act fast.
On her Instagram account, the woman asked her followers for ideas and solutions to solve the problem of her little tailed friend’s escapades and a user suggested asimple but ingenious idea.
Simply, he proposed to put a “safety spoon” on Lu-Seal’s back!
The woman liked the ploy very much: she entered the house, took the kitchen utensil and attached it to the harness of her crafty little girl, specifying that it was a temporary solution.
In fact, as soon as the landscaper returned a week later, he installed some puppy guards on the fence.
