It is often said that thematernal instinct is very strong in female animals. We might think of cats that they are not a breed suitable for raising puppies of another species, especially for those specimens who have a troubled life behind them.

The story of PushaHowever, it proves the opposite.

Pusha, the generous cat

Pusha lived a lonely existence in a small town playground. When a group of friends found four baby squirrels abandoned by her mother, they wondered if Pusha was interested in take care of themas if they were his children. Not without much hesitation, the boys approached the squirrels to the cat, but they immediately realized that Pusha seemed to appreciate it.

Perhaps unfortunately, it was fortunate that the squirrels were still blind at a tender age, and the fact that they could not see allowed them to approach the cat without fear. A little later the little animals were already attached to Pusha’s breast, allowing her to mother them.
