In March 2020 the wild animal rescue center Cuan Wildlife Rescue located in Shropshire, IN Englandreceived a surprising call from a cat shelter: they had one with them little fox which they had mistaken for a kitten!
The rescue center wasn’t that surprised by this call because the baby foxes they look a lot like kittens at birth. Misunderstanding is therefore common.
It happens just as often that people think about raising what they believe is a kitten and just two months later they realize it was actually a fox.
A new life
The cat shelter then transferred the little fox to the Cuan Wildlife Rescue. In good health, the fox only had a scratch on his snout, but nothing serious and he received all the love and attention from the volunteers.
