at the shelter the family has a breakdown

After two and a half years, the Zelitsky family had given up on the idea that the beloved cat Jimmy he was gone forever.

It was then that, suddenly, what we can call a miracle happened.

A random post on Facebook

Susan Zelitsky was looking at the Facebook page of West Milford Animal Shelter when he noticed a photo of a 15 year old cat who looked a lot like her Jimmy.

The Zelitsky family then immediately decided to go to the shelter, taking Jimmy’s cover and toys with them. Because if it was really him, he would recognize them right away.

Shelter staff took the family to the cat’s playpen. When the door opened, Susan asked the feline:

“Jimmy, is that you?”

Tearful meeting

Without hesitating, the elderly cat gently approaches his owners nuzzling them with his little head. He recognized them!nThe whole family begins to cry, knowing that they are finally reunited with the beloved cat.

Jimmy was a little more tired and frail than he was two years ago, but it couldn’t be more felice to be back with his family. He now he can spend the rest of his life surrounded by love forever and basking in comfort! What a happy ending!
