After her cat goes missing, she starts getting some unusual visits

When Laura Galluzzo moved in with her family, it didn’t take long to find a beautiful furry cat in the backyard of their new home.

“He was looking at me from outside. I went out and she immediately meowed at me as if to greet me », he tells our colleagues at Todocat Spain. His cat, Ellawatched the neighbor from inside, but kept his distance.

Great neighbors!

It turned out that the cute cat was called Simba and came back from time to time to greet them. And every time she did, she would peek out her door to say, “meow!”

“She always sat by the door and watched him. I found out that Simba lived with a neighborso I was always happy to see him,” remembers Laura.

A few months after the move, the cat Ella dies of renal failure at the age of 17. She had always been inseparable from her human her and Laura missed her dearly.

A constant visit

A couple of weeks after Ella’s death, Simba began making regular visits several times a week to spend time with Laura.

“Sometimes he would spend hours with me on our porch steps, but his favorite place is the garage, especially if he can get in his car to take a nap,” she says.

Simba likes it when Laura scratches his chin. “I’m sure, one way or another, she knew my cat was dead and that I was very sad. He appeared just when I needed someone to cheer me up» says Laura.

Simba’s owner, who lives a few meters from her home, was surprised when Laura told her about her cat’s frequent visits. The sweet cat had never behaved like this with her previous neighbors and was very happy to share her baby with them.

“I feel honored and grateful to Simba. I really appreciate her visits », says Laura.
