How can you believe what you see in such circumstances? Nicole DiLorenzo was horrified when she realized that a poor kitten had just been thrown from a car on the highway. She then did what was necessary to save his life at all costs.

Earlier in August, Nicole DiLorenzo was driving in the fast lane Goshen Turnpikeclose to Middletown in the state of Connecticut to United Stateswhen she saw the unthinkable.
Someone in front of her on the road threw something that looked like a small animal out of the window of her silver sedan.
It was not until he had finished his fall that Nicole figured out it was a poor ginger kitten.
“I can’t think back to someone throwing this young guy out of a moving vehicle, but I wasn’t dreaming. I’m just at a loss for explanations”she told WRRV.
Save him at the risk of his life
Nicole didn’t hesitate for a second. Despite the dangerous traffic at this rush hour, she stopped her car and then the traffic to help the unfortunate man.
“I am grateful that people agreed to stop and I thank those who helped me to put it in a safe place”told Nicole.
The Good Samaritan drove the baby to her home awaiting a visit to the vet.
He ate hungrily, drank and used the litter box before falling into a deep sleep. However, Nicole was worried, if her body showed only a few superficial injuries, more significant internal damage was probably to be regretted.
The vet did an emergency x-ray. It turned out he had broken ribs and a fractured skull. In addition, blood in his rib cage prevented him from breathing normally.
Through the care and love of Nicole, the kitten is recovering slowly. His resilience is admirable.
“It was a traumatic experience to save this little baby”confessed Nicole who still devotes all his time to it.
Let’s hope that soon he will be able to frolic and fully enjoy with his new caring mistress.
