A dog who fell from a 30m cliff miraculously survives and is rescued by rescuers at sea (video)





Yogi was walking with his mistress when he fell off a cliff. Despite numerous injuries, the canine is doing quite well. Its owner warmly thanked the rescuers at sea who braved the elements to recover it.










August 17, Emily Linehan took his dog named Yogi take a walk along the cliff that overlooks the ocean at Torbay in England.

The Spaniel cross, who was not on a leash, came dangerously close to the edge and ended up falling 30 meters.

Emilyhorrified, immediately contacted the volunteer brigade of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). Which hastened to intervene aboard their lifeboat.

The men very quickly located the animal which had taken refuge on the rocks after swimming a few meters. “We are happy to have found him quickly. We wish him all the best for the future and a good recovery.”said a spokesperson on social networks.

Many wounds, but alive

Yogi was curled up on himself. He was terrified by what had just happened to him, was in agony and was freezing cold. Luckily, rescuers brought him back to dry land in no time.

WhenEmily found her faithful companion, she felt relieved, but knew that he had to be taken quickly to the veterinary clinic. Yogimeanwhile, instantly relaxed and realized he was off the hook.

The unfortunate suffered from a fracture in the spine as well as several ribs. Besides, he had nerve damage and an eye injury.

Yogi therefore underwent emergency surgery. Fortunately, he will recover completely. He is recovering from his emotions in his home with his caring mistress.

“I’m so grateful to the crew. There are no words to describe how I feel right now. I am really impressed by their kindness. Yogi would not be here without the RNLI”she told the Mirror.
