Its owners To Karelle et Pascal Bourret lived, at the time of the disappearance of this cat, Dolus-d’Oleron on the island of Oléron. The more time passed, the more the hope of finding the feline dwindled.
His masters had looked for him everywhere in vain and multiplied calls for help via social networks, but without result. Pascal Bourret was convinced that Hut was no longer of this world.
The family had settled in Reunion for a time, before returning to Charente-Maritime, taking up residence in Saint-Jean-d’Angelyabout 70 kilometers from where Hut had vanished.
She had no news of the cat until August 13th. That day, the association of Oleron Refuge called her to tell her the news that she no longer dared to hope; Hut had just been found alive a few days earlier.
Discovered in a box in the sun
The animal was in a box, covered with a towel in the sun, when it was discovered. The shelter found that it was registered in the name of Bourretbut their contact information was not up to date.
