6 good resolutions for 2023 made directly from our dogs and cats!

Here is a small list of goals for your 4-legged friend and some tips to help him achieve his good intentions for this 2023. Just enough to spend an even more beautiful year by his side…

To hang urgently above his bed!

Objective No. 1: no longer beg like a poor man!

Does your dog spend time begging for table food when you’re at dinner? Does he enviously look at the sandwiches, pastries and other delicacies of all the passers-by he meets on the street?

Sure, your dog eats the same kibble every day and you feel sorry for him (especially when he stares at you with his irresistible gaze), but you have to learn to say no! It’s a bad habit to feed your pet too often. A habit you could kick into the new year, right?

Objective N°2: go to my master when he calls me

Does your pet ignore you when you call him? No matter his age, it’s never too late to teach your dog to come immediately when called.

Everyday life will be much more pleasant if you don’t have to chase your partner all day!

Objective No. 3: no more manicuring furniture

All cats need to sharpen their claws, because thanks to these the domestic cats can mark their territory. But that’s hardly a reason to let them silently attack your furniture, wallpaper and other fabrics!

Scratching posts, nail clippers and synthetic pheromones: there are many solutions to prevent your cat from ruining all your furniture!

Objective N°4 : stop drinking toilet water!

Letting your dog or cat drink your toilet water is not good for him or you! It’s a bad habit but it’s very easy to break!

Simply by lowering the lid and/or closing the bathroom door! A goal for him, but also for you! And your partner will thank you….

Objective No. 5: no longer climb on the shelves

Incredibly flexible and agile, cats are the true kings of climbing. But your shelves and bookcases don’t have to suffer the consequences! Whether this ability allows feral cats to hunt in the wild, in your home, is more often synonymous with destruction.

Have you ever considered a scratching tree? Also, to prevent your cat from climbing onto your favorite furniture and unstable shelves, place small traps, which will surprise and scare your cat without hurting him of course. This should dissuade him from going where you don’t want him to go.

Objective No. 6: no more digging in the garden

No moles around, yet… your garden is devastated by holes! Don’t panic, there are ways to stop your faithful companion from digging up your beautiful lawn. Try to keep him more busy or delimit an area just for himfor instance.
