13-year-old dog is abandoned at the shelter for a shocking reason

On November 15, 2022, the refuge of hopelocated in Provence in the south of France, posted on Facebook the terrible story of Vegaa dog of 13 years.

New companion, away with the dog

A simple one separation. This is the reason the dog was abandoned. When Vega’s human found a new partner and became pregnant, the furry girl began to show signs of stress and combine some trouble.

This proved to be a real headache for her mistress who decided in no time that she didn’t feel like handling the situation. Then at age 13, Vega was abandoned at the animal shelter she had been to adopted 7 years earlier.

Unfortunately, it is known that for i senior dogs it is more difficult not only to find a family, but also to get used to abrupt changes in habits and life in a shelter.

Looking for a new family for Vega

Today the shelter is looking for a foster family to take care of Vega, since he cannot stay there: the volunteers are convinced that at 13 he cannot bear loneliness and life in a box and risks let yourself die.

The dog is 13 years old but in great shape. It is a crossing of Dalmatian. She is very affectionate, she gets along well with dogs, while there isn’t a great feeling with cats.
